01The problem
A broken image that looked better than the original. What if you could break one on purpose?
Every glitch artist has the same origin story: a file that broke in an interesting way. Colours smeared, rows shifted, a face dissolved into blocks — and somehow the broken version was more alive.
GLCHLAB began with one of those images. The question was simple: what if you could make that happen on purpose, and control it?

02The process
From a seed to a field.
- 01 · Seed
A happy accident
A file that failed to load properly — and looked better broken.
- 02 · Experiment
A lab, not a filter
Every effect is a different way of breaking an image. Each one tried, tuned and kept only if it earned its place.

Layers you can stack
Dithering, halftone, CRT, ASCII, thermal, pixel sort and datamosh — combined as layers, for stills and for video.
